now being an eventer come *very trying SJer* all the SJers I know are NOT gay... which is the main reason for turning from eventing to SJing cos their either gay or married too.
However, all the SJers I like are too young by about 5 years
or am i just old and Im not even 30 yet *SULK*

Seriously P_G, going out with someone in the same discipline is a nightmare! When I was on the showjumping circuit I went out with another jumper for a few years, and it really didn't work. We fought like cats and dogs at shows, got jealous when the other did well, and it ruined our relationship. Bag yourself a nice straight sexy eventer or showjumper who will worship your lovely seat and dressage position- not someone who will want to compete directly with you!!!

im 23, i hang around with 16-20 year old girls at shows the men drink carlberg and flirt with the women in the canteen when in fact the only attention they have had back is the attention of their own dogs! i dont like lads my age, older so in any genre of riding i will die all alone! lol like im actually bovvered! (yeah i am!)

He he... God I am so glad I am married. I was always so lazy when it came to the 'dating' thing. If they didn't come to me I would not go looking for them! Imagine me now, I love being tucked up in my bed early watching some crappy film having spent from 5-8 with my two horses. I think i would have some issues...
