I initially presumed it was to do with the ballcock being broken but I replaced it and it keeps doing it.
It’s a home made trough from an old bath if it makes any difference.
This was pre-cleaning it out on Saturday, the water level usually sits where the worst of the green algae is/where the ballcock is but it frequently over fills. Doesn’t seem to actually overflow though? Is it just from where we’ve had a lot of rain lately?! It did it over summer too though I recall.
(ps, no idea how those rocks got in there either!)
