Why is she bleeding?

yesterday I noticed that my 13yr old mare is bleeding from her vagina. I believe she is in season (tail to one side, flirty but no 'squirting' or frequent urinating?) but I have never come across bleeding before. its only a small amount. anyone know what it is? :/

My mare always has a tiny bit, but tbh if you are worried that it's out of the norm for your mare, I would just give your vet a quick call.

Mine does this, not dripping blood but discharge when she is finishing her season. For my horse it's totally normal and I just wipe it away as part of my grooming routine, a quick call to your vet will probably be good if it is uncharacteristic

Thanks guys. tbh, I don't know if its normal for her as I've only had her for 9 weeks and this is her first season with me..... I will keep an eye on it and call the vet if need be.
