Why is this getting to me so much?

OP you have two lovely girls.
My daughter will be 16 in March and my son will be 20 in June. He is in his 1st year of University and I really miss him, but I'm luckier than some because he is only in Bristol (about 1 hour away) so he comes home quite often and yesterday I just popped up to Bristol and took him out for lunch. Oh and then to sainsburys to do a basket of shopping. Oh and then back to his flat to pick up the dirty washing, which he would like ready to be picked up when he comes home on Saturday ... probably with more washing! Well, it's nice to still feel wanted

Yeah, Em wants to go to New York . . . to be fair we have family there and up and down the rest of the US Atlantic coast but still . . . it's a very long way .
