Why Isn't H & H Featuring Our Paralympic Team On The Front Page?

Disgraceful. They only print what they want.

WEC Endurance was sidelined and now this. Stopped buying the mag along time ago.

Full of tosh in m opinion.
 
Some sympathy for the editorial team. Burghley was HUGE this year. To give some perspective, saw some portaloos on course with queues 30 deep for each unit. Itwas even heaving on the dressage days.

Nevertheless, still think the cover should have been 50/50. The para ticket sell out demonstrates the public interest
 
That loo situation was normal when I've been there before, always tons of queues; you had to decide you wanted to go long before you actually did!

Anyway, shamelessly bumping; hopefully H & H will realize what a clanger they've dropped by putting AN as main subject. In the circumstances I'd be pretty sure he wouldn't mind being the small pic on this occasion.
 
Sorry, shamlessly bumping this back to the top of the list. H&H please can you explain your reasoning? I don't think the excuse given so far can really justify it!!!!
 
Just like C4 not giving our para-equestrian team the coverage they deserve and then NOT explaining themselves when aked why by viewers/readers the ones that help pay their wages.:mad:

I dont buy H&H but did buy their olympic special as a keep-sake for the olympics and I was hoping I could do the same for paralympics but sadly no:(
 
Sorry H&H you got it so wrong. The Paralympic dressage team winning gold in front of a home crowd won't be repeated again. How rude not to have them taking pride of place. Andrew Nicholson has won Burghly before and isn't even British. I can not believe that you are so out of step with the majority of your readers.

I'd have had it the other way round with a montage of each of the paras with their medals as the main pic then a pic of AN with his winners sash and trophy in the corner where Sophie (?) Currently is.

I actually though it was worse than normal. Usually the ones in the far corners of the XC are easier to get in, but not this year! They needed way more. I also thought the dressage days were much busier than usual as well.

This sums up my opinion too. This year, above all others, we are meant to not discriminate!!! They should be honoured as the able bodied athletes were honoured.
 
So I couldn't be accused of judging without viewing, I checked out the cover of H&H at my local supermarket....................Needless to say I left the mag there.

I can't understand why anyone buys H&H any more, even before this. It's been crap for years! I struggle to find anything of substance in it now. If I wanted to read reviews of boots, jackets and rugs then I'd buy Your Horse, and if I wanted ads for horses I'd just look online or buy Horse Deals. Even in the winter, the hunting reports are rubbish now.

H&H, why did you miss the opportunity of a lifetime and instead choose to cover AN winning another event...??
 
I would have thought it would come out in next weeks seeing as the official press pictures of the team only came out yesterday or the day before. To be honest after his comment about having a hard on I don't think he deserves to be on the front page. Hardly a role model for the sport.
