currently have my TB advertised as i need a sharer (yes i know totally the wrong time of year

) and the only calls and emails i'm getting are from people who want him on full loan and want him to move yards....seriously, if i wanted him to go out on full loan then surely i would put that in the advert?!!

Ha ha!! You'd be surprised how many advertise as 'loan' when they mean 'share' - I should know, 'cos I always check out the loans as well as those for sale.

I had that when I advertised looking for a horse to loan - it was quite clear I wanted a loan to be kept at my local yard, but still the offers of sharing horses anywhere but local to me came in!! It wastes everybody's time when people respond to the "wrong" ads.
In the end though I ended up buying - the owner made me an offer to good to turn down

People don't read whats there, they read what they want to see. When I advertised my mare for sale, the first week attracted only people who wanted her on loan. Expensive horse not hard to sell too. Damned annoying.
