Was about to readvertise Castle tomorrow...and today I arrived at the yard to see that he had a horrible red bald patch on his croup, larger than a €2 coin. Applied some skin hardener, as still waiting for Equiade to arrive, but yet again I am worried that it won't heal back well. Don't know what it's due to, he has a habit of scrathing himself sometimes but has never given himself a bald patch

Why do ponies always choose to do things at the wrong time?

Lol it's always the way. Our pony got a cut on his face (his first cut ever) on the day of his vetting!! Nightmare! Luckily the buyers weren't put off

sorry for just jumping in there, I am new on this forum, just been lurking in the background for a few days, when i saw this post I knew I had to get the guts to jump in LOL these products really are the best, and the girl on the phone Debbie is brilliant with product advice. I use all of their products now, and swear by them.

I don't think he wants to go at all, I'm convinced that's why he's destroying himself at the moment! Thanks debfromdevon, will see what the other stuff works like and might try it afterwards

Please understand I am not advertising anything, I just happen to have the same name as the girl on the phone (that is the only reason I remebered it) I live in North Devon and spell my name DebbY she spells hers debbIE and her company is in Somerset (NOT DEVON)check her site you will see for yourselfPPPLLLLEEEEEAAAASSSSSEEEEE there must be hundreds of Debbies/Debbys on this forum, just coz I happened to mention hers and mine is the same dosnt mean I am the same. I do happen to use all the products she sells tho and think they are great, but I am not selling anything.

I would also heartily recommend the tailgaitor/eqysys (sp?) products. The UK distributor (Debbie) is on here and her username is BaileyBoots if you want to ask her anything about the products. I've PMd her before and she was really helpful.

thanks Law, for jumping in to back me up there, It was my first posting on here, expecting it to be a nice friendly group, I reccommended a product which for me was ace, and straight away get 2 people jumping down my throat accusing me of things that wern't true. A really nice welcome I DONT THINK!!!!

I don't think they were exactly 'jumping down your throat' - I took them as light-hearted comments. The trouble is we do get an awful lot of people coming on here and advertising products under the guise of being a 'normal' forum user - so I am afraid the older members have become very cynical! I also think the fact that you quoted great chunks from their advertising literature did make it look very suspicious!

Anyway, welcome to the forum - there is a wealth of advice and support on here.

Whilst regular users are pretty wised-up to 'backdoor' advertising on the forum, other newer members may not. I don't think it is out of order to alert other members to the possibility that a poster may not be giving unbiased advice. However, I do think it should be done in a polite and civilised manner - there is no need to be rude.
