why on earth do people like thoroughbreds

I mean, they aren't pretty, can't run fast, or jump, or do dressage, or long distance, or come in different shapes and sizes, or improve breeds can they? Bloody useless beasts on the whole, stick 'em in the can with arabs and cobs eh?;)

My first horse was a TB and she wasn't skinny! I had so much fun with her, hacking, showing and jumping providing she could go at her pace :D She was never sick or sorry, great to handle and ride, loved attention and was very well put together and she was always up for a good gallop.

But i have my suspitions that trollie is a old forum member haveing a bit of fun. :D, don't know who though.
 
I wouldn't want to own one, although I have had them before, you can't just generalise a breed like that! One of the best horses I rode was an ex chaser, manners to burn, safe as houses and held his weight well too!!! The TB I owned was sharp and a bit scatty, but would hack alone or in company and was good in traffic, Unlike a cob I have now, who is dreadful in traffic and a handful on the ground!!
 
Is it Ihotse , who is HHOs answer to Miss Marple/Poirot?
She is absolutely amazing at working out who is who or who they used to be:D:D

I have a box of roses in front of me.....I have had four ......
