Why so small?

I'd much rather ride a little one, not so far too fall. Although as someone pointed out, less time to rotate into a neat ball. But at 5ft 9in, have too much leg for anything too compact. Had a very happy time a while ago hacking out a 15hh Welshie.
 
I bought a 13.3 pony when I was 18. Not sure about recapturing my youth though, I started riding at 10 and was quite tall (think I stopped growing before everyone else, im not that tall) I rode mainly horses.
 
Cheaper to feed, more self reliant and much easier to open all the gates from when riding - plus we don't have to duck to get under the trees on the bridlepath.

As for the VERYSERIOUSNOTATALLTONGUEINCHEEKORADIGATANYONE thread because they are cheeky little beggars and you always need your wits about you! And like Fransurrey I refuse to grow up!
 
Love my little pony .. We love nothing more on a Sunday then to go to a dressage party and kick some horsey butt ;) and I am Petra pan ( female Peter Pan ) and outright refuse to grow up :)
