Meet project Baldrick.

Long story short, he was the worst of a bad bunch of horses owned by, proberly, the worst owner I have come across in 25+ years of being around horses :(

He was taken off her, note no money passed hands as I refuse to condone this treatment of animals with any financial reward, by myself and a good friend.

She has been reported for the rest of her horses so fingers crossed she might actually think before she buys another cheap one to try and make a few quid selling them on before they get too skinny

I have already had this youngster checked over and is being treated for the skin condation, feet trimmed, wormed etc so we are all hoping he pulls through with some good grub and a lot of tlc.

So send some good vibes his way please. Gonna be a long journey.

Omg that's terrible, poor little chap :( How many others did she have? And how the hell can anyone look at an animal in their care, see them sick, starving & suffering, and just carry on without a care in world? When my aged Hanoverian mare became chronically lame I cried myself to sleep the day before she was PTS, although afterwards I was sad she was gone it was nothing compared to the utter despair I felt knowing that she was suffering. Evil woman should not be allowed horses or any other animal ever again.

Oh poor pony! Well done you for helping him, make sure you keep us posted as he progresses. It is true what they say that some people should not own an animal as they simply have no idea and no empathy with them.

Thanks everyone.

He's eating, drinking and pooping like a normal horse now and has a cheeky personality shining through. A bit of Dr Green will hopefully help as well when it finally make an appearance :)

Poor little mite :( Some people are seriously awful beings, makes me so sad and angry that people do this to animals :( Good luck with the little man, you'll have to keep us updated with his progress :)

Oh bless that poor little guy! Some people really are disgusting.

At least he is with you now, fingers crossed all goes well and he starts feeling better soon, let us know how you get on with him :)

Yes, sorry, not the rain scald but the long clump that looks like a weird tail like thing.

I think that's his front leg :D

Seriously though it is disgraceful to let the poor mite get into such a state there's no excuse. I hope we can see him go from strength to strength, at least he is one of the lucky ones.
