I have nothing against tb's but the ones i have rode you could never relax on them like a can do on my 3yr old cob(: does anyone agree with me on this, there beautiful horses but give me a cob any day(:

So, lets all show of our cobs with pictures and stories of them!

We love cobs because you can relax on them like you said :)
they teach beginners how to ride and can bring out someone to go cross country or anything :D They are all rounders and have a heart of gold and you can never be afraid to ride them because they are like a pet! :D

Merlin-
I especially love this cob because he taught me how to canter properly, taught me how to jump, brought me out on me first hack and cross country!

And when we were out doing cross country he knew I was nervous and didn't do anything i wanted him to do and stopped when I wanted to stop :)

I rode him for 4 years and then he was sold to china?!
I will never forget him and miss him loads!
thanks Merlin :)

Shes actually a newfieXcob but hey its still in there! (cob body on newfie legs! lol!)

I love my cob because he is sensible, brave, honest and will have a go at anything.

He is only 6, but over the past year, from when he was 5, we have come on together from me being really nervous to going to our first one day event, trec, polocrosse, sponsored rides, hacking, jumping and dressage.

here he is:

This is my little coblet and I love her to bits. I have had her since March and have come on in leaps and bounds with my confidence. She has a huge personality, and is very cheeky. She looks quite cross most of the time but you know she would never, ever bite or kick. She is totally safe, you can get on her and take her out on her own and nothing phases her. All the people at my yard love her because she is such good fun to ride and you can take her anywhere and do anything with her. She is never sick or sorry and is very low maintenance. I wouldn't swap her for the world or ever sell her.
