Ok so ispent my budget on my new lorry and tax. It has a good engine and solid floor walls etc. But, theinside needs tidying, new breast bars etc and the cab doors only lock from inside.

Oh gave me a steering wheel lock and it is parked out of veiw at the yard. Glove box locks so ok for goingn places while I get it done up.

Anyway, some nosy so and so has been poking around in it and has taken it upon herself to lock both doors from the inside before closing the doors.

Theresn the problem. It only locks and unlocks from inside and I cant get in to unlock it. Why do people. Have to poke about? I wouldnt just get in. Their new car and poke about. Its going to cost me loads to get someone out now.

I agree it is well out of order to poke around in your lorry like that. Probably illegal too. Then of course the helpful numpty wanted to ensure no-one else could do the same (especially you...)

Fold some packing tape and slide down the edge of the door and use the loop from folding the tape to lift button below the window ( sorry only helps if you have a button thingy!!! )

Please note I am not a thief..........just used to the dogs locking me out!!

The RAC came out and did my car when I locked the keys in the boot and all they did was slide an inflatable cushion down the side of the door, inflate it and unlock the door with a coat hanger.

Can you improvise some sort of similar method?

Can you get in via the horse area? I had this with my lorry when I couldn't find the keys and thought they were locked inside. I just dropped the ramp as far as I could (it was parked with the back near a wall) and sort of clambered and squeezed in then let myself through to the living that way.
