<font color="blue"> They love and adore the horse so much they were willing to sell it at age 18yrs in very poor condition. Yup, this post has convinced me.
Not.

I'd be interested in hearing the owners justification for allowing a horse to get into that condition if she loves him so much. Also, just a word of advice, I should keep your veiled threats to yourself before YOU end up in hot water. Your attack on Prittstick was spiteful, uneccessary and ignorant. If you only joined this forum to be a hero to your friend you've failed miserably and it would be wonderful if you vanished again
yes i am a good friend of the owner and she is a honest and caring person that why she put a full photo on and not just a head shot as she wasnt hiding anything she was being honest. its amazing to see how many of you on here have such highly uniformed and false accusations about a person you dont even know! i just hope all those of you who have added a slanderous post on here dont believe in karma! please feel free to ask anymore imo!

If she is such an honest and caring owner how has her horse ended up in such a poor condition? Is she aware that it is looking poor, and if so is she in a position ( knowledge / support/ feed/ good grass / worming routine) to do something about it? I'm not trying to be nasty to her- just concerned that this horse looks poor- and selling it on in that condition may exacerbate the situation rather than improve it.
i know personally that she has done everything she possibly could to build the horse back up, the horse is well loved by her and her children. she does have a good knowledge of horses and thats why shes constantly being trying every possibility. do all you people honestly think that if she neglected the horse her friends wouldnt have done something? the comments that the main majority of you have added are not fair.
Well it hasn't worked has it- as a friend would you be able to suggest she now seeks some help from one of the equine charities?
I am not suggesting that this horse is neglected- just that whatever its current situation / management programme is, its not working- and needs to be resolved before winter. Older horses should be looking at their peak at this time of year- and that horses current condition does not bode well for winter.
as her friend i dont need to advise her of anything as she is already seeking the appropriate steps to help the horse as we speak. i do appreciate that you arent one of the rest of the small minded people on here and i can assure you that the horse is getting the best possible care.
where is the ad on horsemart i cant find it ? also need help please im moving my 2 thourghbreds to andalucia spain does anyone know anyone in Seron with livery ? or know anyone whos already made similar move and can give advice please . HELP!!!!!!

You still haven't told us what, if anything is wrong with the horse. If he is needing 'the best possible care' then that suggests he has an underlying problem - which should have been stated on the advert.
If he has no underlying problem, and is just underweight, then why would she not get condition on him before advertising him for sale?
Surely no-one can think it is acceptable to offer a horse for sale in that very poor condition?

well as a matter of fact the blood tests were clear!! i couldnt care less for your opinion as its not relivant! what are you talking about whinging to admin i can fight my own battles!
i never made a threat against prittstick i made an ignorant comment about someone i didnt know just like the rest of you on this forum the threat was actually made by you saying i would end up in hot water if you think i am scared of your reactions or your comments then think again cos i am the only one on here who has got balls!

If the blood tests were clear, then what IS wrong with the horse? For someone who came on to stand up for your friend, you are being a little obtuse.

i can only tell you the bit i know i am not the owner of this horse all i came on here to say is the horse isnt abused but obviously you cant exept both sides to the story and everybody on here wants to attack me like they attacked my friend.
Could I ask if he has had teeth checked, someone knowledgeable look over his diet, bloods repeated and LTF done?
Is the horse in work? Is it sound- pain can cause a horse to drop a lot of weight rapidly, and stress too- any change of routine.
I don't like the way this thread is turning into a slanging match- but I am genuinely concerned this horse looks so poor.
im defending my friend cos thats what she is! and ive just as much right to comment as everyone else who doesnt know the facts. and im as pointless as the rest of you then i guess
