Why?!!

Do people feel the need to chase up a convoy of 40 to 50 vintage tractors and drive them noisily through a very quiet village (my very quiet village) just as I am out hacking my very spooky warmblood!!

To be fair both he and my old boy (ridden by my friend) were superbly behaved, just for a change, although Whisk did try to half pass into the guy directing the convoy. Serves him right imo.

We had 1500 motorbikes go past our field recently, good for them I say

Well at least you can hear them a mile off! (OH has just returned from his first ever ploughing match and I could hear him stop at our neighbouring sheepfarmer's place half a mile away for a chat)

What I don't like is the silent cyclists in super luminescent tops who sprint past quite close without saying a word when I'm walking No1 LGW home , always make me jump (but not the pony)

ahh the joys of vintage tractor rallys! we have 15-20 vintage tractor come throught our village at christmas,...normal tractors are fine, but over load when spooky horsey met 15 odd tractors completley covered in tinsel, bells and other'scary' horse eating decorations, poor boy had a heart attack
