After all that, all the lovely gifts and help from people on here...the show in Sunday is cancelled!!!
Poor weather and a rumour of the dreaded S word, have made it almost 100% sure that it won't go ahead :(

It was going to be the last of the proper shows, so I might have to wait until next year!!

Grr, arg! At least it gives me a LOT of time to practice plaits!
 
How disappointing for you. Have you tried ringing local riding club, pony clubs etc see if either they're having any or know of any near by? Some bridleways associations run one or two as well. Have a good look in local feed & tack shops too.

They usually go on until july/august time, but I heard YO talking and she said it might be the last proper one she holds this year and because it's not going ahead, that means we've only managed one show this year!! There's usually 6,7,8-ish!! It's crazy! Bloomin' weather.

Sadly, Ned doesn't travel yet and I can't practice because the trailer has got stuck in the mud D: I was hoping to have him trailer trained by this time. The weather has ruined everything this year :(
 
Still worth a look, mine travel fine but can't run something to travel in, but after a bit of research I have managed to find quite a few within hacking distance. (just a bit annoyed the only place that does unaffil sj would involve either riding down a mway or a busy town centre that's crowded with cars)
 
Unless I can rope someone else in, that's a no go either. Horse won't hack alone quite yet!
He's a nightmare, but I'm sure we'll be hacking/travelling to shows before too long :D
