My thermatex is definitely the best wicking rug, but picks up a lot of bedding. At this time of year I really rate my Horseware DriRug. It has a fold away neck cover so when my grey pony rolls after a bath he stays clean, but dries well if I leave it on overnight in his stable after a bath.

Dri rugs are great, and don’t pick up bedding. They have a detachable neck cover. My top choice for summer.

You can’t beat a thermatex for use in the stable in cooler weather on a horse which hasn’t been clipped.

The Horseware Airmax liner can be popped on under a turnout if you want to turn a wet horse straight back out.

Another vote for Thermatex, I use my summer weight more than the original weight.

But, if you want a cheaper option I can highly recommend the Rhinegold version. I bought mine as a spare to use day to day in winter (I confess I didn't my Thermatex to get muddy under a T/O rug) & I really rate it :)

Decathalon microfibre drying rug, cheap and it knocks socks off my thermatex for drying speed.

I can bathe daughter’s shaggy pony in winter and she’ll be dry by the time we leave!

I have this in a bright coral, its like weird chamois leather material and sucks the water off them quicker than anything else I've ever used.

I have an airmax rug as well which is brilliant under turnouts.

I don't even have a horse anymore and really need to get a grip and sell this stuff :(
