And not of the mooing kind!

I've been looking for some tall boots for the past 8 months or so and I can't for the life of me find any that can fit my calf size. I have found a couple of brands such as Brogini that come very, very close to the point where they fit... As long as I'm not wearing trousers but it just seems impossible.
I'm wondering if any of you have had any better luck?
My calves currently measure in at a whopping 45cm.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

I know a few brands that do specific calf width fittings and heights, Mountain Horse are one of them. If you can, go to a decent tack shop and get measured. They'll probably order them in for you and check the fit too - definitely worth the extra journey!

I was recently looking at boots as I liked the look of some Tuffa ones and noticed they did plus size riding boots. They aren't the cheapest but these could work? They look lovely. Their X-Wide ones go up to 48cm.

I’ve just recently posted about Tuffa boots, I took the plunge and got a bespoke pair because I’ve never ever managed to find a pair that fit my awkward legs.
Absolutely chuffed with them, beautiful boots, fit perfectly and the customer service was brilliant. They really went out of their way to make the right boots for me not just the pair they wanted to sell.
Not super expensive for a made to measure boot either, so they’re a bargain as far as I’m concerned ?

I have had problems with boots in the past - wide(ish) calf measurement but skinny ankles so if I got a wide enough calf then the ankles were always baggy and saggy

Ended up getting some m2m celeris which are just wonderful!

Mine are 44 cm and I have MH Sovereign. Admittedly, it takes a few days to get the zips fully up, and it's a 2 man job. Then have to wear around the house for a few days. Now I can zip them up mysekf fairly easily. But when you first get them, you're convinced you'll never get in them!

I have very knees and calf due to medical issues the only boots I fit into are xx wide Shires and x wide in horseware . Just in case you’re still looking for riding boots

I couldn't find any that suited me as I'm short with muscley calves. I bought Shires Moretta jodphur boots and short/wide chaps from Shires to get a good fit. I know this isn't what you said you are looking for, but could short boots/chaps be an alternative? There seems to be a wider range of sizes this way. At least for me it worked.
