wierd lump

when i checked joey this morning he has a strange lump well more a raised patch on his neck (its not his gland) its really odd, he could of banged it, would it come up like this? its quite worrying

my grey had a big lump come on his neck in sept so i kept washing with salty water but it didn't get better so i clipped area no sign of a wound got the vet out who said it was an abscess but cos hes grey wanted to scan it to make sure. trip to vets 2 nights stay, scan, sedation, and lancing of the abscess total cost was £300 but well worth it
