wierdest horse names youve come acroos!:)

When I bought my l
young lad last year he was called Honky. His previous owners referred to him as Honky the Donkey as he's the most laid back, quietest TB you could ever wish to meet. Needless to say its now been changed and he's a far more respectable Harvey.

i went to the heart of wales centre on riding holidays too, and i remember peabrain!! when did u go?? they stopped doing riding holidays and i was rele disappointed. i would have gone in maybe 2000/2001??

:-) Someone else met and remembers Peabrain!!! I rode a Chestnut Welsh X called Chesney!! lol

Well...I was 14 when I went and I am 29 now...so it was 15 years ago!!!! Eeeek! Therefore, I think it would be around 1996.

My horse is called Ethel :) My cats are called Billy, Bunyip and Shaun, my fish were called Chips, Salt and Vinegar but Salt died :(

I know a lot of horses with funny names but cant remember them!

Nearly all the horses at my RS have human names. I think, secretly the owner just likes to chuckle at the phrase "girl's name, you're riding boy's name"

On wierd names that aren't human, I knew a horse once called "po", the first pony I ever rode was called "bash" and I once knew a lady with a cat called "mouse"

The only pets I've ever had were a pair of goldfish when I was six called "bit" and "bot"

One of my cats is now called Mouse. His real name is Kinyozi Artemis, which got shortened to Arty, which then became Arty-Mouse, and the eventually just Mouse. It suits him though because whilst he's a massive big thing that looks like a leopard he's actually very shy and quiet :)

My horse's sire is called Bashful Bobby Dazzler!

bobby dazzlier i named him that because he was a right bobby dazzlier,
his mum was dazzling dapper and his dad was black bob, so i thought bobby dazzlier.

i also sold a foal this year that i named ROCKAFELLA. buyers loved it.
i have also had
uptown girl,
brandy,
crowhill beauty,
clint,
trunto,

loads more throught the years,
also my 1st pony was named ED, what was with that, but he was 12 and he knew his name so had to keep it, also johney in my 20yr old.

That's like my dog, he is a Chihuahua x Toy poodle so is tiny, but when he was born he was huge compared to him mom, a right bruiser! So that's what we called him Bruiser! People think it's kind of ironic! :D

also had,
BEAUTY GEMS,
BEAUTY,
GENERAL,
BLAINEY BOY,
ROCKY,
SOUVERION,
chance,
lucky,

ok thats all the names i can remember, through out the years, theses is mostly all foals we had. also my mares names.

Also had a filly foal this year, named her LADY MUCK, although she did fall in to a bog and i had to jump in a save her, i had a thread on her. she is in a lovely new home, she turned out to be a massive filly, very kind.

I did know a riding school pony called Bush, in honour of his extraordinary mane :p
I also, very childishly, used to get the giggles over a gorgeous young horse on our yard called Willy (I mean, really "I'm just riding Willy"....whatever possessed someone to name him that?!). And I do know a highland gelding called Heathcliff - his owner once told me that she went to go and fetch him in from the field, yelled "Heathcliff", only for someone who lives in the houses at the bottom of the field to yell "Kathy" back at her!
