All our riding school ponies have peoples names, jim ethel bob ronnie alfie doris wayne nigel tilly lola amongst a few. Though we do have a livery whose horse was called big dick and still is on his passport this was quickly changed.

Oh used to have two cats called Badness and Wickedness.
Son wanted to call our new pjr puppy Chutney Lampost, but we chose Lily instead.

I've got a mini shetland called Leonard my cob'called Splash bot gets called other names like Splashy-Moo and boob (and worse when he's naughty)
i used to have a female rat called Evil Keith, her cage mates were Sushi, Sen, Bellatrix, Tailess Wanda, Squish & Sashimi. One of my male rats is called Lord Mort of the Manor.
We also have a border terrier whose nickname is Rat Boy

Years ago I was joking around saying 'steady him, steady the steed' and another lass thought the horse was called Steve!
Every time I contemplated a horse called steve it made me giggle, sometimes proper giggles! I'd imagine it announced, or in a race commentary, or just an introduction. If fate ever throughs a gelding at me he's gonna get called Steve!
