Wild Deodorant

Fellow horsey smelling people that are probably always at the yard and need a good deodorant - I keep seeing this advertised, does anyone use it and rate it? I follow Tina Wallace who obviously is often talking about it. I use Mitchem now which works really well but often looking for something for eco friendly and better for you!
 
I have tried fussy for a few weeks and the oils in it turned my clothes black in the underarms. A few months later it's finally washed out. It was okay, more a deodorant than anti perspirant of course, so I only used it at home as I'm not a "merely glow" type.
 
I loved the Wild scent I chose — I think it was cotton and sea salt — but unfortunately, it didn’t work for my right armpit. It was totally fine on the left side. After menopause, I noticed my right armpit became much harder to keep deodorised which i still think is weird. Now I use Nivea 96 Hours, and that seems to be doing the trick. I have a friend who really loves Wild though, she influenced me lol.
 
I went down the more natural route but prefer Native deodorant to Wild or Fussy. There are lovely smells and some especially for sensitive skins.

It became hard to source at a reasonable price in the UK, but I found I can simply log onto Amazon.com instead of Amazon.uk and have it shipped in. It takes about a week.

Interestingly, Mitchum has started to do a natural no aluminium one, which I have just tried. It seemed better value but is actually much smaller. I am sticking with Native.

I experienced exactly the same! Couldn’t work out why it worked on the left but not the right!? I like Wild but often find that the sort of synthetic technical fibres used for equestrian tops (especially once I get moving) don’t fare well on the underarm area when using Wild
and I have to bin them as they smell sweaty.
 
Took some time getting used to changing from an antiperspirant to a deodorant, but I now love Wild. Don’t get confused between the two because if you are a very wet sweaty person and want to stay dry then Wild won’t be for you.

Some people have complained Wild stains or goes gloopy, but I think that’s usually from over application. One or two sweeps under the armpit is enough, and then a couple of minutes to let it dry.

@Puffinollo have a look at Nikwax basewash or basefresh, we use it for all our sports clothing washes and have noticed the difference since we switched.

Not necessarily wet but if doing jobs at the yard and don't have the right tops or deodorant on i can smell myself which I hate! Since using certain tops and also Mitchum spray I never smell anything now thank god so I do wonder if Wild would work!
 
I love the Vico brand. It is a small company with great emails! They really appreciate your business. They also have a fantastic range of scents.
 
I changed from fussy to wild. Fussy worked well, I just prefer the consistency and scent of wild. You really don’t need to use much at all. I used many other no-aluminium options before these, but both these worked best for me.
If changing, be aware that it is a deodorant not an anti-perspirant, so you will sweat, but not smell. I switched from antiperspirant years ago (as I was having to use stronger products and I didn’t like the marks left on my clothes). It took a while (months - would advise winter!) for my body to adjust, but now, I’m glad I made the change.
I’ve not tried native, mainly because I have adjusted to not needing antiperspirant.
 
Wild didn't work for me when I tried it, I preferred Native but my favourite is AKT. It's not the cheapest but 1 tube lasts me a lot longer than a stick from e.g. Native or Wild.

Native is just a deodorant, not an antiperspirant.
