I have a prolite girth, and having recently fully clipped the pony am wanting to get a sheepskin cover to avoid rubbing (very sensitive, fine skinned mare). Might seem like a stupid question but will the girth covers for the fairfax girth fit my prolite.

Also, if they would, what size should I get for a 28" girth with a narrow gauge?

Cheers:)

So did I but they said the pattern comes up different enough that they don't advise using the fairfax cover on the prolite, you have to ask them for the prolite one (it is mentioned in the catalogue but not shown). I'm fairly sure if they could sell the same thing to do the job well enough for both they would.
The trouble is the fit isn't spot on then they probably risk moving- I've seen this with a lemieux and a fairfax and the girth guard just disappeared under the girth.

I have a 22" narrow gauge prolite & have just started using the LeMieux sheepskin Fairfax girth sleeve. The small size fits fine & hasn't moved at all when I'm riding.

I bought the lemiex sheepskin girthsleve from burghley. I have the prolite 26in and bought the medium fits like a glove easy enough to get on and off but doesnt move at all.

Any updates on this? I have 30 inch narrow prolite x 2 for two horses?

Wondering what cover works best for horse allergic to neoprene?

Custom made Nuumed narrow for prolite girth?
Or Lemieux standard large?

Any advice gratefully received.

I have the large lemieux on a 30" standard prolite and it's ok. I would imagine it would be fine on the narrow gauge as I would say it is a tiny bit too narrow on the standard, but that's just me being ultra picky. It does the job, especially as post clipping my horse decided he couldn't move forward until he had some dead sheep in situ!
