Will a few glugs of corn oil a day do any harm?

I only want it for coat shine as the Baileys Outshine is proving quite expensive.

I feed 1/2 mug of corn oil twice a day to my mare, this is on vets orders though I may add for her joints as she has ringbone, side bones and DJD.

But she is gleaming right now after being on it for about a month and a half

So long as you keep an eye on weight will be no issue.

Thanks guys, if it's only a small amount do I need to worry about it unbalancing the diet? The Outshine already contains vitE and selenium which is what I'm a bit worried about.

I think you will end up with a very big ar*e if you drink oil. I would stick to diet coke!
