I have had Fly for a couple of months now and I think we are seriously sorting our issues head on. We are bonding a lot and I even know when he is going to go "into one" now so can take evasive action (most of the time). Please wish me luck, we are off to a local show on Sunday and i am going to enter the 2ft3 (pathetic I know) and if that goes well the 2ft 6. All I want to achieve is good behaviour, I just want NO rears, Minimal bucks (exctied ones allowed if he has done well) and us both to be happy with our lot. Fingers crossed everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You've got to start somewhere, so why not there. As for the height, it doesn't matter, you are there to get him used to the show experience as the atmosphere is so different than at home.

We took my lad to a show the first time & didn't enter him in anything, we just let him have a good look around.

You're doing the right thing, start off slowly & steadily & hopefully he'll behave.....well the only way you're going to find out is by taking him......Good Luck
