Hey everyone,

Along with my passion for horses I also love singing and songwriting. Now I have my own horse at the moment on DIY and work full time and I have seen an advert in the local paper for a singer to join a band. Now I have always wanted to be a singer and I am just wondering if I join this band will I have time to fit everything in - horses, rehearsals, gigs, boyfriend, housework and a full time job without being dead by the end of it.

What do you guys think? Is it possible? Does anybody else do it?

Thanks in advance and cookies and cream if anyone wants any!

Kerrie

Ouch, sounds like youll have alot on your plate! tbh if it were me, i dont think i would do it, but, im not you, and if you really really want to do it and think youll be able to manage with all the juggling then i think you should give it a go :) just think it might be a bit too much :/

I have no idea about singing and song writting but I have a 3yr old daughter, 4month old puppy, 10 month old puppy, 4yr old youngster which I'm breaking, work full time and have a boyfriend and I manage....... JUST haha

If it's something you have always wanted to do then go for it, if they take you on then it's obviously meant to be!

My cousin is in a band and gets roughly £200 a night when gigging in pubs/clubs etc, if your band does that sort of thing you may be able to go part time with your job giving you more time during the day.

Good Luck what ever you decide :)

If you talk to them and find out about rehearsal times etc then you would know if you can work to a time table. You will be able to do it.

My mornings and days are run like clock work, I know exactly where I will be and when. I usually don't have spare 5 minutes but I feel it's all worth it. My nights are more relaxed and I have as couple of hours to myself in-between changing the washing machine haha I think you should atleast try then if it doesn't work out you can always say that you tried :)

Just ditch the housework! It's more important to be happy and fulfilled than to have a sparkling house! Anyway, once the dust is thick enough you don't notice it any more! Seriously, I think anything is possible with careful management and identifying areas where you can spend less time (like housework ...... can you tell I'm not a fan!).

Thanks for the replies everyone - tass I'm with you on the housework situation! I'll see what they say and give it a go if they want me to. Who knows this time next year I might be famous!

I did something very similar for a while, but instead of a job I had school/college plus home work... was hard but an awesome experience
