I use a lidil saddle cloth as my horses show one :p

I bought a blue and a brown one yesterday and I am actually really impressed with them (the only thing I don't like is the painted on horse motif so i'm hoping it will come off at some point!), they are far nicer than the HKM one I bought and far cheaper!

But yes I was wondering if people would think of me as being cheap if I turn up at shows with a £3 saddlecloth from lidil :p

I would think using a coloured saddle cloth at a show was being cheap anyway unless it was part of a uniform or sponsor deal.

The only people who will know it is from Lidl will also shop there....so go ahead.

Depends what class you where doing really and at what level, if it was a smart coloured one and the motif came off then you could use it for unafil SJ. But as I said depends on class and level, you couldn't wear it afil foxhunter SJ, showing or dressage (only plain white is really acceptable for dressage)

Don't be snob... if it suits the horse and does the job... fingers to anyone who judges you :)

I don't do dressage so it not being white isn't a problem :)

It will be for low level bsja (Bn and disco). The blue colour looks really smart on him. I wont actually use it at a show until I can get the motif off as it looks a bit silly :p

I can't afford the expensive ones most people use, so cheap it is for me!
