Will insurance pay out for strangles detection and treatment??

As in title. As my pony contracted strangles 2 months ago now, he had a GP done today which showed he still had an abcess in the GP so will need further treatment costing me alot!! Does anybody have any idea if I can claim for all of this as I think I can??? Thanks.

Did you notify them to start with?

No I didn't as my excess is £500 which I thought would cover all tests etc so there would be no point claiming, but as he is now a carrier its going to cost more. Silly of me really not to inform them asap.

Phone them as soon as you can then

Even if you don't claim you have to inform them.

ring them asap, but they should pay.
