My horse has hoof 'issues' and has been advised by vet to remove shoes and 'go barefoot'.
He furthermore advised that if I need to hack I must use hoof boots to protect feet, as the only access to hacking involves riding some distance on pavement.
In this instance, does anyone know if my insurance company (with whom I have a current claim concerning this problem) be willing to reimburse me for the cost of the boots?
