Will it make 16 hands?

Measured one of my filly's today (finally managed to get close enough with the scary measuring stick!!) She's almost 14.3hh on the wither and 15.1hh on her bum. When I advertise her what would be a fair estimated adult height to put her at? Mum was 15.1hh TB, Sire 16.1 1/2hh WB.
 
Yeah, I'd be interested in this answer too. I've got a yearling filly about this size as well. As all my previous babies have been predominantly Arab blood (none maturing bigger than 15.1h), I'm not familiar with what the average 16.1 hand horse is when it's 12 - 18 months old. Know I went to visit my mare at stud last weekend and there were some VERY big foals coming up to say hello. Taller than my now 15h filly was at 3 months old. Crickey, how big are THOSE boys going to be when they grow up

With that parentage I'd sugest she should make at least 15.3hh but then she could take more after one than the other so could end up smaller / larger depending...
 
She was born 5th May 2007, so is coming up 14 months. Making 16hh seems to be a decider for many people looking to buy competition prospects. So many ads for youngstock say 'To Make 16 hands +' The dam isnt big herself but her sire was 16.2hh I believe, which is why I look at this filly and scratch my head. She sure is a lot bigger than my other yearlings which will certainly make 15.1 - 15.2hh. Is it likely she might only grow another inch or two?

Sorry, I know this is a crud question but I just don't want people turning up to look at her and then say she's too small or too big!
 
Was it the mare's first foal? Many people think first foals end up smaller. Dunno if this helps?? Mind you, from what you've said your yearling is as tall as its dam already isn't it!
 
Hi, I marked my mare's height on the stable wall and as a yearling she was 14.3hh, she's now a 3 year old and is 16.1hh. She's a TB x ID, which may well have a bearing on growth time and rate etc, hope it's of help.
