will my hay be ruined?????

Typical we have hardly any rain then the wk my farmer cuts our hay it rains!!!!so now i have lovely cut hay laying on the field,the forcast is another 3 days of it so heres the question, is it going to be any good if after it stops raining it is turned as normal till dry then baled???or is it not worth bothering???advice please???

No, if it's just been cut and just lying there. I think it's when it's been turned several times, then rained on.

Agree with Echo Bravo, if its only just been cut it should be ok. If it was later on and been turned a few times already that's not so promising. Poor you though, its happened to me before now

happened to us last year. leave it alone until you are getting fry weather again, ours had a week of rain. Then turn as normal til dry. it was some of the best hay we have mde!!
