Will she Grow....?

Hello,

I've just brought a middleweight cob x (not sure what the x is just what the yard said she was) 3yrs 9 month mare. She's 14.2HH currently but her bum is higher then her back which I've been lead to believe means she will grow. Dose anyone have any idea at this age how many more hands she will grow? I don't want a 17HH beast and don't think that will happen, just wondering what she might end up being. Any ideas or guesses are welcome.

Cobs grow for AGES! Generally they go bum high then level out, I wouldn't be suprised if she continued to grow until she was 7 - not nescesarrily height wise but they do broaden out.

The cob I used to ride at 4 was of a slim-ish build and 14.2hh, bu about 7 - 8 he was build like a clydesdale (REALLY broad shoulders) and about 15.1hh :)
 
Hate to say it but my Welsh X reached her adult height by the age of 3... And she is still classed as bum high! She is rising 11

She grew in other ways, getting a lot broader all over to look more like a Welsh cob than a weedy youngster but definitely didn't get any taller.

Ditto. 13.3hh ish at 2.5yr old, 14.1hh ish at 6yr old and hasnt grown a cm since he was 4. And still bum high! He has filled out a lot though
