To go to the pony sales and buy a weanling filly -- I assume thats a big yes!
Said filly to mature around 14hh - 15hh (cobby 13.2hh no problem either) --again I assume thats a yes?!?

AND manage to aquire said filly for UNDER £100?
what do you think?

Iam not after classy or good breeding. Don't mind if she is wild. I would just be after a future all rounder PC type.
I also don't want to travel miles to the sales, so considering the NF sales and those around the Dartmoor area too.
Or does anyone have any other ideas?

4 yrs ago we bought a reg NF yearling that would make 14.2hh at Beaulieu Road for £350... (I think.... roughly) Was def over £100!!! The big ones are more expensive.

Maybe a cob type may be cheaper?

my friend went to the newfie sales in may and she said the colts where barely making £10 but the fillys where going for about £350.

Beaulieu rd is on the 12th of this month i think, is that a thurseday? I would expect you will be able to pick one up for that price, the "cob types " will probably be more than the ponies. I hope to go, but will be refraining from putting my hand up, i am under strict
orders, lol :(
