Will this year never end?

I hate 2010. So far I have lost my beloved dog and my old and much loved horse. This afternoon I brought Whisky in and he was very sore on both fronts!! Of course lami springs to mind as he is somewhat overweight. He has never has any signs of it before. He was shod yesterday so am hoping he is feeling his feet due to that.
Fingers crossed he is easier tomorrow. I fear the worst and see a vet visit in our very near future.....great.

I lost nine animals in one year through old age and illness, so yes things are sh**ty sometimes, but life as we know it goes on.

1983 was the worst year of my life!
My brood mare broke her hind leg and had to be shot. 3 weeks later her foal died from a brain haemorrhage. Then I lost my stables and my grazing because my uncles decided that they owned the land not my mother and built houses on it. Because of that I had to sell my 2 remaining ponies. The memories have not faded with time.

Fingers crossed he is just a bit footsore from being shod, you really don't need or deserve any more dramas this year.
