This is my 3/4 TB X 1/4 ID mare. This is the first time I have tried to attach a photo so I hope it works...........

it depends how much ID there is in there, how chunky they are. also, some are deceptive! i've seen pure TBs with more bone than some of these had...
in my siggy: far left pic - Canoodle 7/8TB 1/8 ID (got to 2*), 2nd left and avatar - Skylarker 7/8 TB 1/8 ID (got to 3*), far right - Smooth Talker 7/8 TB 1/8 ID (2*).
I also evented a 3/4 TB 1/4 ID (dam of the first horse) who was a little bit heavier but easily made the time at Novice.

This boy was 1/2 Irish Draught out of a Tb X Trakehner mare, he evented to CCI* and Intermediate level. He was 15.3 hands and Looked more like a little TB with no hint of Irish in him!!

George, 1/2 ID 1/2 tb. He had a lot of jump and was sucessful at novice but wouldnt have made the time at intermediate.

Sunshine, 1/4 ID, mostly tb in the rest. Very talented jumper

Rizzle, 1/2 ID, talented but very stubborn!

This is Pippa, she is 15.2, she is by the ID Stallion Tough of the Blues, out of a TB mare. She is a compact little horse (pretty short coupled) and certainly has a leg at each corner. I evented her up to Pre Novice, but Pre novice was her level, it wouldn't have been fair to push her up to novice.

Hi yes this is the one that is lame and off work at the moment :-( and thank you I think he's stunning too.
Here's on of him to show how solid they can be, sorry didn't post more but was just going up to see him before. He's 17hh and in a 7' rug.

My mare is ¾TB ¼ID, but everyone who looks at her reckons she's full TB, partly because she doesn't carry much weight. She's out of a Point to Pointer by Old Leighlin VII who's sired quite a few successful eventers (IDSH) and has several derby winners in her ancestry!

Have included a few unridden pics so you can see how her condition can vary, she'll never be chunky!

Hattie's an ISH - we reckon approx 1/4 ID and 3/4TB (Cruising x Ballinvella lines) She's got TBish legs, good length of rein, Deep irish girth and big irish powerhouse of a bum!! :D

Think I confused you, Old Leighlin is my mare's daddy so they're almost siblings!

How interesting. I think they have a similar rear end & back legs. He swings his hips like a hooker and steps through like you wouldn't believe & it's interesting to see how much your mare tucks her bum in/sits.
He has a very different neck & a connemara head. Be interesting to see how he looks when he's grown up:
