Just spoken to the vet and he's bright and eating this morning, CCJ will be off to see him soon, they left the radio on all night as requested and of course he is getting lots of attention from the surgery staff (he's very cute), I could tell from the way the lady who answered the phone spoke he is making friends.
The vet said he should be more comfortable with the lump flushed out and now it's a question of wait and see, she was very guarded re his prognosis but we knew it was a gamble to start with.
He has to stay ther for four to five days so the port in his leg can have stuff flushed through it, then if it works he can come home. If it doesn't he will be euthanised there rather than suffer a journey. Please send him your strength everyone.... pic on www.narramorehorses.blogspot.com
