William after op update 2

All my fingers are crossed and lots of healing vibes being sent.

Housemate was meant to be up there today but had to cancel due to transport issues, may go up in next day or so though and if she does will make sure she gives him a hug.

Is he in the isolation barn next to the office or in the block by the loading ramp? presume he isn't down the bottom!?

But yes come on William you can't stop fighting now.

Blimey Sue, I have only just caught up with all this.

So sorry to hear that William is struggling.

If there is any justice in the world he will rally round.

Tons of vibes and hugs to all. xxx

I didn't know they had two places, you go in from the far door and there are stocks in front of you and the operating theatre to your left..
C is up there again at the moment, I will have to say once a day is really enough, it's 20 miles away so 80 miles a day is a lot of diesel!
The vet said there was no actual infection in the joint, just near to it, so please let that be easy to get at..
Will keep you all updated as he goes on, I can feel a huge tide of "Get well William" winging it's way towards him as I type! Thanks guys..

Been away for the weekend, so only just caught up with this news. Fingers crossed that everything goes alright & that he makes a full recovery.

huge amount of hugs to both you and william. the little blighter is such a toughie with everything he has been through.everything is crossed that he pulls through this time as well x x x x x x x x x x

Just had a look at William from your blog: My god no wonder he's making friends at the vet's, what a cracker !
So nice to hear the news that he is eating, no infection in his joints, etc... With you and CCJ with all my heart: Little William, pull through and get well quick (((((( )))))))
xx Flo xx

Super news about William, it sounds like *fingers crossed* that the right thing has been done

More wishes on its way to William!! xx

Oh that all sounds so encouraging!!! GET WELL SOON WILLIAM!!!!! Poor chap - what a star he is!! Hugs to you and C too!!

No the cost of sending him there for the full op was between £1500 and £2000, so we decided to let our own vet do a scrape out procedure in the hope that fixed it.
I really couldn't justify another two thousand (I have already spent that on him now) for a foal worth £1500..
They said it isn't in the joint and he is making good progress this eveing but I won't dare even hope yet..(our vet's in North Tawton past Okehampton..)
