Well I am in the south east & have been trying to sell our home made hay with no ragwort for 2.50 & now £2.00 a bale & are still having no luck so definitely a surplus round here

I ended up giving away 100 bales this year as I ran out of storage space. My neighbour had to do the same and ended up burning as many again.

where abouts Irishdraft? Im also on the east sussex/ Kent border but the camber side. Good hay seems hard to find here

Yes I am 15 mins from camber just outside Rye. Larry Cook is a hay& straw merchant on the marsh 5 mins from Camber
