See what you think, I know he is a multitude of different coat colours/scabby bits etc but I think he has put weight on.
Not better yet as the toxins are still making his hair fall out on his legs/head etc but he's eating well and cantering about.
I love the pic of him standing watching me, he looks so wise...

Hope he continues to recover well from here on in. You'll have to find an extra special home for him when the time comes.

He is so lucky that you and your vet have put so much effort into him.

No nearer discovering the cause I'm afraid.
The fact his coat is coming out the way it is indicates something horrid in his system, as it's not normal coat shed, more sort of traumatic shock type baldness.
All the tests came back negative , and we tested for things that affect humans , calves, pigs and horses, so every damn thing was covered, even the water.
They won't go back in that field again now until next year, and I think we will make hay off it to start with anyway just to be sure.
He is still in at night and in bead weather, and is a long way from being ok, but at least we seem to be winning..
