William update and lots of herd pics, I removed loads of rugs today and took pics of everythings' condition.
Considering half the rugs stay on from October until now with just a hoik forward and a glimpse under every few days to check for weight loss, they cope ok..
Not BHS methods perhaps but they look fine, especially as some of them are aged and have poor teeth.
I spent 20 mins stalking my old Welsh cob, I walked, he trotted off, I walked, he trotted off etc and eventually he got hungry enough to stand long enough for me to remove his rug..Old devil!
The others all stood like rocks to have their rugs off, it's nice to see them all grazing without them in the sunshine.
