Bit indulgent really got myself prepared for making that decision on old Will. Lost loads of muscle and started having accidents. Also small lump on bottom back but for whatever reason last two days he's full of beans demanding fuss and today a walk! Anyway its so hot here too hot for him to walk far so took him for run in car to pets at home to get guinea pig food. Wish I had pics of his ears flapping in the breeze coming through the car. Anyway went for potter round PAH and replaced his collar that Dylan ate! Got the collar in bargin bin but think suits him.

.and snog for you all!.

Very smart lad. Its horrible when you realise they haven't got long left, but as long as he is enjoying life and his new collar hopefully he will be with you for a while yet.

Love him too bits even though he doesn't feel ours after how we got him. Just gutted about weightloss after putting 2kg and a bit on for him to loose it again. This time more round his waist he's only been going round the cricket pitch or up the horses to lie in the stream recently not had a "walk" for two and a bit weeks now. But the tail keeps wagging :)

I did not know he was that old, hes done really well. They dont need long walks at his time of his life as long as hes happy tootling along at his own pace thats fine. A lot of people with old dogs are struggling to get the weight off and you have the opposite problem, maybe it is the hot weather and when they are old have a job to utilise their food properaly.

You have abviously done a good job keep spoiling him.

He's always been lean could be hot weather I suppose causing him to loose weight. The only proper walk hes done is beach really. But other than that he's a favourite in my local as OH takes him up after work sometimes, he took him self once silly boy.(pub is 4 houses up typical lab straight in kitchen) And he goes to work on weds and has a oaps meeting with two other old boys in the carriage shed. He is rather spoilt though. If the nutters are out he has run of house and always has a trotter or ear on the go.

Very smart man in his new purchase!

The heat will prob have contributed to his slowing up, so you may find he improves slightly once the temp drops. For 15 he looks fab and if the tail is still going then I bet his old owner is pleased as punch with the life you have given him.

Fingers crossed he's with you for a good while longer, sounds like a cushty retirement! :)

Handsome boy, glad he enjoyed his trip to PAH. I bought the same collar for my new girl on offer it looks good on the black dogs.
