; both had ballot stickers on. I didn't specify the PAVO section for William, I don't know if that would have made a difference, or if they assumed I would rather be in that than run.... the answer is no, I'd rather run than be wait-listed for PAVO! I see Boss and MdM entered, and Sarah-Jane (commiserations again)... who else is going?

Bloody rotten PAVO sections! Had asked at Catton for owner/rider section as thought that would be a lot less competitive than PAVO 6yo. Was put in PAVO section. At Buckminster I specifically asked NOT to go in PAVO section.... then was put in it. Wouldn't mind only they're horrifically competitive and my horse has no breeding so not eligible anyway!!!! Ironically friend's 6yo with breeding got in a normal nov section. Sec said it was either run in PAVO or be balloted despite not being eligible to qualify.

Some PAVO sections I'm the only name entered that i don't recognise (if you know what I mean??).

Silly isn't it? Certainly last year when I did 5yo PAVO the scores I finished on got me nowhere, but in all the other PN sections of the day would have got me placed! Perhaps you'll just have to enter events where they don't run PAVO at all!
