Wiltshire people - please be aware that thieving b@stards are on the loose again. We were burgled last night. Saddle, bridle, winter rugs, lightweight rugs, fly rugs, headcollars, leadropes, even feed stuffs. These were in the barn about 50 feet away from the house.
PLEASE take as many precautions as you can. Thankfully they didn't take the lightweight rugs off the ponies backs but I now have 5 ponies with one lightweight rug each and thats it.
The police said there have been quite a few incidents recently in the area.
I am off to the saddlery now to buy some headcollars and leadropes to bring the ponies in tonight.
 
Thanks for warning. Wiltshire quite a big county, which area are you? Sorry you were targeted, bad luck and hope you get sorted soon.
 
So sorry to hear this. I think this goes on everywhere throughout the country. I have had all my saddlery stolen before. Now I have anything of value in the house.

Its good that your warning people but I would edit your post otherwise they may find out where the good stuff is kept, you can never be too careful, who's on line.
 
In the north of the county there has been a recent influx of travellers wonder whether that has anything to do with this.

Be careful as thieves regularly come back to take the replacement stuff you have bought.
 
I work in wiltshire and a few moths ago someone was so desperate they stole 15 old rubber feed buckets from a field of broodmares. Seriously some people are so odd.
