wimpy cob wants to be in and fine one wants out !

well my cob pony type hairy like a yak rugged up stands at gate dosnt move wants back in as soon as you turn out
my fine coated youngster tbx arabx whatever unrugged four y.o loves to be out i brought cob in after an hour who looked pleased and left finer one out just think its funny-isnt it supposed to be the other way around ?
Ive learnt never judge a book by its cover lol whats your s and what are they doing or prefer ?
