Has anyone else had crazy horses due to the wind?
Norman today led in as normal, so put him in stable to feed/change rugs. He took one mouthful of food then went to back of stable to look and stare out of window. Usually he will eat, eat and eat until it's all gone!
Then after an age I was leading him out and I could feel he was all tense and wasn't going to lead very well so I let him off in the field adjacent to his. He immediately started bucking and galloping and going completely crazy! Then he came galloping back to me only to stop, turn and off he went again!
Couldn't see him at the other end but sister said "he's in the other field!" So off I went to look and he'd jumped his metal gate, with rugs on, and managed to knock the bottom hinge off! Oops! Hoping he's more sane to ride tomorrow!
