Windgall Help!

Have no idea what to do! Pony has had a windgall for about a week now on near hind just above the fetlock and a very small one on off hind in the same place. Have been cold hosing twice a day, bute twice a day and been put arnica on twice a day. There is no lameness and no heat. Both swellings have been going down and now only the near hind has a small amout of swelling. I have been riding him as the swelling goes down after ridden work. Doesnt seem like he is in any pain will pick up feet and let me touch it with out any problems. Am i doing enough, is there anything else i can do? Havent had a vet out yet, as the swelling has been going down each day, just the last two days it has been going down really well through the night and then it will just come up a little when ive been up in the evenings. Have ordered some vetrofen to see if that will bring down the last of the swelling.
Any help/advice for a very worried pony mother!

Windgalls are synovial fluid from either joints or tendon sheaths. They often don't cause lameness but be aware that they are a sure sign of something happening in joint/tendon that may result in lameness at some future point.
