windgalls and barefoot or spring grass??

Is there any correlation between barefoot and windgalls or spring grass and windgalls?

No idea but mine has them as well and not been ridden in a week.

I find with the grass coming through our older mare is more prone to puffy legs - that includes her windgalls coming up a bit (both of ours are barefoot, only one gets puffy legs so don't think it is realted tbh, although she gets much less puffy legs than when she was shod).

I think there might well be a link to spring grass intake as my pony's windgalls are huge at the moment, and no other reason why they should have increased!
