Who's going? And what are you watching?

It looks like I'll be there all week at the dressage

Anyone else? Be good to have a meet up if possible.

I can't wait!!! Seeing Edward Gal and Totilas in the flesh will be the high point for me. And Balagur!

I can't wait I have been nagging my friend for ages about keeping the week free to make sure she can house, horse and dog sit

I'm there Sat eve for the Kur as my friends very kindly brought me tickets for my birthday, including BD Pavillion tickets!

We've booked a hotel for the night so will be hitting the Pimms too :-)

Can't wait!!!

I'm there in hospitality on Wednesday for the dressage and will probably go on Saturday for the dressage and jumping too

Might be there up at some point as it's only up the road

Tempted just to get showground entry tickets and watch it on the big screen

We want to go as now completly hooked after Hartpury yesterday but just trying to work out the best way to get there and any where reasonable to stay??

Hi

I'm going on the Wednesday - all day with my bf in tow! I am getting him addicted to horses/dressage/lorries. Anything really, just to make sure he is as love in the loss of time/money as I am!

In a couple of months he's going to start driving a little lorry for me!

There's a Travelodge in the centre of Windsor, right by the Windsor central train station and literally a 3 min walk from the Castle - you couldn't really get any closer if you tried

I'd love to go but seems I can't. However, there may possibly be an opportunity as my boyfriend's working there so I could go alon and help him. I'd have gone for the jumping.

Im going - the Friday and the Saturday - got very cheap bed at Travel Lodge at Heathrow (£9 a night). Now Ive got to try and organise a taxi each night to get me from Windsor to Heathrow at about 11 at night!. Know any reliable taxi firms??? Oh and how much does the BD Pavillion cost?

Why don't you train it? Last train from Windsor & Eton riverside which is literally across the road from the Home Park is about half 11 and some go direct to Feltham (direct link then to Heathrow via like 5 min bus journey) or you just change at Staines.

It costs about £40 to get from Twickenham to Egham in the late evening by taxi and that's about the same distance that Windsor is to Heathrow. Train will definitely be cheaper!

Ouch! £40! Thanks for that but I am on my own and public transport doesnt appeal on a Friday/Sat that late at night! If I go by train it sounds as though Ill need to change onto a bus - then it will presumably come in at T5 - my hotel is on the east of Heathrow and the shuttle buses will have finished according to the blurb I have - it gets worse.

Maybe Ill find someone to share the taxi with me. Anyone out there????
