With Windsor creeping up, I was interested to see which stallions were represented by the jumpers.
On the basis of the long-list of 199 horses, the repetitions are interesting:-
Calido I 6
Carthago 5
Animo 4
Caretino 4
Libero H 4
Nabab de Reve 4
Quidam de Revel 4
Baloubet du Rouet 3
Calvados 3
Concerto II 3
Contender 3
Corrado I 3
Darco 3
Emilion 3
Mr Blue 3
There are another 16 sires with 2 representatives and 108 with 1.
If anyone would like my spreadsheet, PM me. I have sire, rider, nation, sex, sire, damsire, grandam sire, and age of the horse. I will reduce it to the definite horses tonight. My (bad) experience of official brochures is that it may just be handy to have at Windsor. I do not know if there is a way to post it on the forum.
I am also creating a 3 gen analysis, but this is taking a lot longer. All indications so far are that the stallion with the biggest singlemost influence will be Cor de la Bryere by a country mile. Capitol I and Alme also feature heavily.
Are many others going to the Euros?
