My daughter has just told me the temp. stables are £60 a night ,has anyone else been told this,has she got it right? Is there anywhere else near to stable [don't think the queen does livery]

yes they are expensive, have you tried local livery yards that might be able to help you. i can hunt around too if you like as we are there regulary
 
Thank you, years ago we did an event at windsor and stayed at ascot race course but don't know if they do them for anything else.If you have any contacts please let me know as I don't know where to look
 
The only thing i would say is your jumping comp on the sat starts at 7.30am coarse walk is at 7am. There is day stabling at£40 for the day but getting into and out of the show ground can be a night mare especially if the ground is pants.
As you are competing for the sevices they should help you with the cost. I think , i know the RLC do for their teams.
You will probably,as i see from your posts you have been doing well and a large variety of events , get into the jump off in the afternoon. Regardless all teams parade infront of the Queen before the second round.
So i would try and stable. It will be worth it , you can even go to the evening performance on the friday if you stable!!
