There were a number of posts a few weeks back regarding foals which had been born windswept...just wondering how they are all doing as haven't seen any follow up posts unless I have missed them?! So, have they all straightened up or is surgery the route being taken? Just musing...

Wizz, how is your filly's leg? What routine have you gone for?

My filly had surgery and had her screw removed yesterday and she now has lovely straight legs!!!!

Hello! well Echo and mum has been in stable for 2 weeks now, got a farrier out last sat. who is experienced with foals legs and he trimmed her accordingly (she was really good!) he then came back Tuesday and said "straighter by miles since sat."

Hi, what a differnce, thats brilliant!!

Yes I have some photo's of before and after. Will post them once foalie gets her bandages removed and is finally let out, hopefully tomorrow, if it ever stops raining here.

Glad your filly has made such good progress

Hi, I wasn't making reference to any particular post just the previous "global talk". What a remarkable difference in your foal. Very well done to all involved. Interested to hear / see how the ones which underwent operations have progressed too.
